Dale "Buck" Scott Sayers, 66, of Milesburg passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Geisinger Medical Center. Dale was born December 20, 1945 in Lock Haven, the son of the late LeRoy G. and Hazel Richner Sayers. He was raised for a time by Grace Mann and Pearl Meckley, who also preceded him in death. On April 29, 1965 he married the love of his life, Sally Ann Wetzler Sayers who survives at home. He was employed by Cerro Metal Products from 1966 until his retirement in 2007. Dale was a member of the Milesburg Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was a member of the Class of 1965 at Bald Eagle High School. He enjoyed hunting, spending time with family and friends, he really enjoyed Bible Study, Sunday School and Church. He especially enjoyed his time spent with his grandchildren, especially hunting with them and the butcherings at his brothers farm. He always enjoyed his Wednesday morning breakfasts at the Diamond Deli with his good friends from Cerro. He was a member of the Bellefonte Lodge #268 F. & A.M., Tall Cedars of Lebanon Forest #129, Altoona Consistory A.A.R.S., and Jaffa Shrine of Altoona, and the Bellefonte Moose #206. Dale was a very kind and generous person and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by two sons; Scott Alan (Angel) Sayers of Milesburg and Eric Dean (Nikki) Sayers of Yarnell; One sister, Faye (Luke) Emel of Yarnell; Three brothers; William (Helen) Griffith of Yarnell, Frank (Nancy) Sayers of Yarnell and Jerry (Lois) Sayers of Fetzertown. He is also survived by six grandchildren; Zach S, Scott L, Grace C. Sayers; Madison M., Kyla E., and Kennedy M. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters; Linda Pike and Katie Sayers. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Milesburg Baptist Church, 110 Market St., Milesburg with Pastor B. Jeffrey Trawinski officiating. Friends will be received at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring St., Milesburg, Pa. on Friday, July 27, 2012 from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. A Masonic Service will be held on Friday, July 27, 2012 at 7:45 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Advent Cemetery, Boggs Twp., Centre Co., Pa. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Milesburg Baptist Church, P.O. Box 821, Milesburg, Pa. 16853. Arrangements are under the direction of the Dean K.
