Obituary of David Fisher, 58

David A. Fisher, 58, of Mileburg passed away August 26, 2010 in Rush Twp., Centre Co.

He was born November 23, 1951 in Bellefonte the son of Alma G. Ogden Fisher and the late Allison G. Fisher. He was a 1970 graduate of Bald Eagle High School. He was a truck driver for S & R Towing and Recovery. He was a member of the Brookside Wesleyan Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

In addition to his mother he is survived by two daughters; Cara E. Fisher of Belleville and Sheri R. Moore of North Carolina. Three brothers; Robert W. Fisher of Fleming, Daniel W. Thompson of Bellefonte and a half-brother Renauld J. Fisher of rural Julian. Three sisters; Carol E. Stauffer of Bellefonte, Gail E. Smoyer of Fleming and Cynthia L. Tice of rural Julian. He also is survived by his granddog, “Punky”. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a son, Matthew D. Fisher in 1979. He also was preceded in death by a sister Sharon M. Fisher and a half-sister, Catherine Zeth.

Friends will be received at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, Milesburg, Pa, Tuesday, August 31, 2010 from 12:00 to 1:30 P.M. The Funeral Service will be Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 1:30 P.M.at the funeral home with Pastor Robert ”Bo” King officiating. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Union Twp. Centre Co.
