Obituary of Delores Spicer, 84

Delores "Dee" O. Spicer, 84, of Bellefonte, passed away Friday, November 30, 2012 at the Center Crest Nursing Home in Bellefonte. She was born on May 6, 1928 in ALtoona.

She married Richard I. Spicer Sr. who preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker and had babysat for many area families. She enjoyed baking, cooking, gardening and she was a member of the garden club at Centre Crest.

Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family.

She is survived by three daughters; Linda Peters of Bellefonte, Sharon and husband Ed Brown of State College, and Diane and husband Kevin Vandermark of Howard. She was preceded in death by a daughter; Ruth Ann Spicer. She is also survived by three sons; Ralph Frank and wife Ginger of Bellefonte, Richard I Spicer Jr., and wife Joyce of Milesburg, and Kenneth E. Spicer of Bellefonte. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Dee also raised her granddaughter; Tammy Moore and husband Jeff of Centre Hall.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at noon with a one hour visitation prior to the service at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 W. Main Street, Howard, Pa. with the Rev. Stephen Hicks officiating. Burial will be at the Hublersburg Cemetery.
