Obituary of Dennis Dreibelbis,, 57

Dennis Dreibelbis, 57 of Lamar, passed away Monday, August 10, 2009. He was born on June 17, 1952 in Bellefonte, a son of John Henry and Barbara Long Dreibelbis of Pennsylvania Furnace.

He married Claire A. Masse on May 23, 2009, she survives at home. His first wife, the former Joyce Bailey, passed away on February 7, 2002. They were married on September 4, 1971.

Dennis was a graduate of State College High School. He was the parts manager for B&R Farm Equipment in Milroy. Prior to that he was employed for many years by Dotterer Equipment of Mill Hall. Dennis was a member of Mt. Bethel U.C.C. where he was president of the Consistory and past secretary. An avid hunter, he was a member of The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and NRA.

Surviving, besides his wife, are two daughters; Michelle J. (Dwain) Force of Bellefonte & Linda K. (Tim) Houser of Centre Hall, a son; Jim D. (Tammie) Dreibelbis of Tylersville, two sisters; Carolyn Sharer and Diane Baney both of Centre Hall, four brothers; Mike of Atlanta, Ga., Jeff of Centre Hall, Kevin of Howard and Gary of Birdsboro, three grandchildren; Lyndsey, Autumn and Kyle, and two step-grandchildren, Kasondra and Colton.

The funeral will be Thursday, August 13, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at the Mt. Bethel United Church of Christ, 6190 Nittany Valley Dr., Mill Hall, Pa. 17751. with the Rev. Nancy Kuhns officiating. Burial will be at the Mt. Bethel Cemetery, Mill Hall. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 W.Main Street, Howard, Pa. from 6 – 8:00 p.m.
