Obituary of Donald R. Browne , 47

Donald R. Browne, 47, of Howard, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009, at Mount Nittany Medical Center.

Born on Sept. 4, 1961 in Williamsport, he was the son of the late Walter and Mae Eck Browne. He was a graduate of the Bellefonte Area High School. Donald worked as a Furnace Technician. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Lewistown.

Along with his fiance, Stevie Flynn, Donald is survived by two sons, Dustin Browne and Joshua Browne, both of Jacksonville; two step-children, Bill and Casey Flynn; three sisters, Connie Stahlman, of Bellefonte, Bonnie Martin, of Axemann, Susan Maples of Huston, Texas; two brothers, Skip Browne and John Yoder, both of Bellefonte. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Stephanie Browne; and two brothers, David Yoder and Gary Yoder.

There will be a public visitation held on Thursday, Aug. 27, 2009 from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., the time of the service at the Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 27, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Alex Dyakiw officiating. Burial will follow on Friday, Aug. 28, 2009 at 10 a.m., at St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery in Pleasant Gap.
