Donna Jean (Yetter) Blesh, formerly of Rebersburg and Pleasant Gap, passed from this life on Thursday, December 27th at Centre Crest Nursing Home in Bellefonte. She was 75. Born in Lock Haven on October 20, 1943, Donna was a daughter of the late Elmer J. and J. Irene (Wert) Yetter. She was a 1963 graduate of Penns Valley Area High School. On January 29, 1965 she married Alexander D. Blesh, who preceded her in death on February 22, 1994.

Donna began her employment in 1963 as a bank teller at the former First National Bank in State College. She then moved to Peoples Bank, which then became Omega Bank, and is now First National Bank. She retired in 2010 with 40 plus years of service. She was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church in Rebersburg where she was very active in the Ladies Aide Society. In her earlier years, she enjoyed bowling, camping – especially at Grange Fair, and playing cards. She was a member of a card club that played at Senior Citizen Centers. Donna’s greatest love though, was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who loved their Meme and will miss her.

Donna is survived by two sons, Timothy J. Blesh (Chellie) of Bellefonte and Terry D. Blesh (Maria) of State College; two sisters, Sandra E. Johnson (Fred) of Rebersburg and Deeann L. Zimmerman (Joe) of Stormstown; and, three grandchildren, Alexander Blesh, Desiree Stitzer (Trevor) and Hannah Blesh. Also surviving are four great grandchildren, Harley, Miranda and Parker Stitzer and Brayden Blesh and two step grandsons, Allen and Josh Puit of Bellefonte.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Steven R. Neff Funeral Home on Sunday, December 30th from 6-8 pm and Monday, December 31st from 10-11 am. The funeral will be held on Monday, December 31st at 11:00 am with Rev. Rebecca Horn officiating. Donna will be laid to rest in the Lutheran and Reformed Cemetery in Rebersburg.
