Donna L. Reish, 75, of Pine Grove Mills, was surrounded by family when she passed away Sunday, March 20, 2016.

Born August 24, 1940 in State College, she was a daughter of the late Harry D. Gill Sr. and Doris L. (Horner) Hess. On December 27, 1959, she married Samuel W. Reish Sr. who survives at home. They were married for 56 wonderful years.

Donna retired from Peoples/Omega Bank as a Branch Manager where she was employed since High School. She enjoyed picnics at her family’s camp in Black Moshannon State Park as well as tenting at The Centre County Grange Fair, visiting the beach, and spending time with her family. She was also a life time member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 5825.

Along with her husband, Samuel, she is survived by three loving children; Samuel W. Reish Jr. (Jodi) of Howard, Jamie D. Reish of Pine Grove Mills, Michael C. Reish (Lisa) of Warriors Mark; two sisters, Catharine G. Hook (Ronald) of Mechanicsburg, Gloria J. Sendzik of Petersburg; one brother, Harry D. Gill Jr. of Town Island, NY, five grandchildren, Andrew Gummo, Kristi Bricker, (Andrew), Austin Reish, Matthew Foltz, Ryan Hockenberry, and two great-grandchildren, Eli and Liam Bricker.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Francis M. Hess; maternal grandparents, Margaretta C. Horner, Fred Horner; paternal grandparents, Julia C. Gill, Harry C. Gill, and one great-grandchild Ayden Gummo.

Family will receive friends on Monday, March 28, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral Home, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA.

Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in Pine Hall Cemetery in State College.
