Obituary of Donna Vallimont , 82

Donna Rae Oswalt Vallimont, 82, of Snow Shoe, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016. She was born in Lock Haven on August 24, 1934, the daughter of the late Erma Modella Oswalt.

On May 24, 1952 she married Robert L. Vallimont, who preceded her in death.

In her earlier years, Donna worked as a bookkeeper at Johnson & Morgan Construction Company. She was a 1952 graduate of the Snow Shoe High School. Donna was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and First Families of Pennsylvania. She enjoyed researching history and genealogy. She also was an avid listener of audio books.

She is survived by her daughter, Candace J. Vallimont of State College and her sons Robert C. Vallimont of Bellefonte, Lynn S. (Abbie) Vallimont of Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey and Dana L. (Dawn) Vallimont of Riverside, California. Also surviving are her nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring Street, Milesburg, Pa.on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at 4:00 P.M. wtih Rev. Jeremiah Montgomery officiating. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday, November 27, 2016 from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Askey Cemetery.
