Obituary of Dorothy Hill

Dorothy "Dottie" M. Hill of Carlisle passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at her home. Born July 15, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Eliza McClintock. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Hill Sr. of Carlisle; two sons, Richard Hill Jr. of Carlisle, and Randy Hill and his wife Tracy of Shermans Dale; two grandchildren, Kaitlinn Hill and Logan Hill of Shermans Dale; three sisters, Gertrude McCalister, Helen Henry, and Pauline Gilbert and her husband Dale all of Carlisle. She was preceded in death by a brother, Paul McClintock and three sisters, Pearl Tobias, Ethel Eberly, and Margaret Wilson.

A visitation and memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2013 from 6:00 PM until the time of the memorial service at 7:30 PM at the Hickorytown United Methodist Church, 1510 West Trindle Road, Carlisle. Graveside services will be held at the Westminster Cemetery, 1159 Newville Road, Carlisle, on Friday, March 8, 2013, beginning at 2:00 PM. The Reverend Iva O'Brien will officiate both memorial and graveside services.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Hickorytown United Methodist Church, 1510 West Trindle Road, Carlisle, PA 17015.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services, 1034 Benner Pike, State College.
