Obituary of Dorothy L. Hickey (Holt), 73

Dorothy I. Hickey, 73, of Aaronsburg, passed away at Geisinger Medical Center, on Wednesday, December 26, 2018. Dorothy was born on February 3, 1945, in Lewistown, a daughter of the late Paul A. and D. Lorraine Parsons Holt. Dorothy was a 1963, graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School.

Dorothy was an elementary school teacher for different school districts. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Centre Hall.

On November 21, 1969, she married Thomas Kevin Hickey, who survives at home. Also surviving are her son, Sean (Wendy) Hickey, of Centre Hall, and daughter Laura (David) Dorman, of Coburn. She is also survived by two brothers, Lee (Betty) Holt, of Unionville, Larry (Dorcas) Holt, of Julian, and her sisters, Lois (Michael) Love, of Lemont, Linda (Gary) Maney, of Butler. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Davia A. Dorman, Millena L. Dorman, A.J. Dorman, and Aiden D. Dorman, Callie M. Hickey, and Leia I. Hickey, and one great-grandson, Lucien A. O. Dorman.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018, at 1:30 p.m. at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Union Township, Centre County, with Pastor Mark R. Messner, officiating.
