Dorothy M. Boone, 87 of Marsh Creek, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2009 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center. She was born in Port Matilda on October 24, 1921 a daughter of the late Toner and Bertha Wensel Mann.
She married Kenneth Boone who preceded her in death on July 1981.
Dorothy worked for many years in the Nursing Dept. of Centre Crest Nursing Home. Dorothy was a member of the Marsh Creek Brethren in Christ Church.
She is survived by 3 daughters; Jane & Bob McKivison of Beech Creek, Linda and Toby Kunes of Howard, and Mona Lohr of Milesburg. 2 sons; Ronald L. & Elizabeth Boone, and Ken A. and Jean Boone all of Howard. 1 sister; Eleanor McCloskey of Salona. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 3 step great-grandchildren.
