Obituary of Dorothy W. Liscinsky , 90

Dorothy W. Liscinsky, 90, of State College, died Monday, January 21, 2013, at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College, PA.

Born May 3, 1922, in Trafford, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Martinki Schweikarth. On June 17, 1950 she married Stephen A. Liscinsky, who died September 4, 2003.

She is survived by two children, David S. Liscinsky and his wife, Nanci, Daniel T. Liscinsky and his wife, Sandi, four grandchildren, Sean, Jennifer, Daniel, and Clair, and three great grandchildren.

Dorothy was a 1940 graduate of Trafford High School.

She was a member of the State College Presbyterian Church for over fifty years. She was also a member of the State College Woman’s Club and former member of Centre Squares.

Visitation will be 3-5 p.m., Thursday, January 24, 2013, and Friday from 10-11am, at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College, PA.

Funeral service will be 12:00 noon, Friday, January 25, 2013 at the State College Presbyterian Church, 132 West Beaver Ave., State College with the Rev. Susan Reisinger officiating.

Burial will be in Pine Hall Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to the State College Presbyterian Church at 132 West Beaver Ave., State College, PA 16801.
