Obituary of Douglas Benner, 57

Douglas Clark Benner, 57, of Morrisdale, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016, at his home. Born on June 7, 1958, in Bellefonte, his was the son of late Robert (Sr.) and Hazel Houser Benner.

He was a graduate of the Bellefonte Area High School.

Douglas enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time at camp, and riding motorcycles.

He is survived by two daughters; Ashley Hilliard of Bellefonte and Alisia Duvall and her husband Ron of Orbisonia, one brother, Robert “Bob’ Benner and his companion Bridget of Bellefonte, three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by one brother, Randy G. Benner.

A public visitation will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2016, from 6pm until 8pm, at the Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 North Spring Street, Bellefonte, PA.

Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
