Edward B. Armstrong, 65, of Petersburg, died Monday, Feb. 1, 2010, at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College. He was born May 8, 1944, in Williamsport. On June 28, 1969, he married Sondra K. (Wilson) Armstrong, who survives at home.
Ed served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He then became employed at Cerro Metal Products in Bellefonte, where he worked for 41 years. He retired in March of 2008.
He is survived by two sons, Edward T. Armstrong, of State College and Matthew J. Armstrong, of Petersburg.
His services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will also be private at St. Stephen's Lutheran Cemetery, McAlevy's Fort. Arrangements are under the care of the Baggus Funeral Home, Belleville, PA 17004.
