Obituary of Elizabeth (Betty) Ohs Yonker , 89

Elizabeth (Betty) J. Ohs Yonker, 89, of State College, died, Monday, June 18, 2012 at The Atrium at Penn State Village.

Born February 21, 1923, at Houtzdale, PA, she was a daughter of the late George C. and Catherine Thomas Ohs.

On November 10, 1948, she married Francis H. Yonker, who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Jennifer Carey and Kristen and her husband Kevin Hazen; two grandsons, Christopher Carey and Michael Carey and his wife Melissa, two great granddaughters, Ashlynn and Madison Carey. A special thanks to family friend Phyllis Baker.

There will be no viewing. Graveside services at Philipsburg Cemetery will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to State College Presbyterian Church, 132 Beaver Avenue, State College, PA 16801.
