Obituary of Elizabeth Louella Decker , 86

Elizabeth Louella Decker, 86, of State College, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born January 6, 1924, in Mt. Carmel, PA a daughter of the late Russell J. and Edna R. (Parker) Facer.

On February 4, 1942, she married Rufus G. Decker who preceded her in death on September 16, 1992.

Elizabeth was a dedicated homemaker, attended the State College Assembly of God Church and enjoyed crocheting, reading her bible and watching children play.

She is survived by two daughters: Mary Lou Gilliland and Carol Edna Sills (Gerald L.); two daughter-in-laws: Judy L. and Shirley P. Decker; one sister: Esther V. Cramer; eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three sons: Rufus G. Jr., John E., and Samuel D. Decker.

Visitation with the family will be (time) Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services, 1034 Benner Pike, State College. A celebration of life will follow at (time) at the funeral home with the Rev. Harry Brotzman, Jr. officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the State College Assembly of God Church, 2201 University Drive, State College, PA 16801.

Private interment will be in Centre County Memorial Park.
