Obituary of Ella Wilson , 92

Ella G. Wilson, 92, of rural Bellefonte, died April 19, 2015. Ella passed away at her home surrounded by her family. Born August 5, 1922 in Unionville, she was the daughter of the late James M. and Alice Marie Bates Confer. On May 7, 1940 she married Merle L. Wilson, who preceded her in death on December 22, 1988. Ella was a homemaker. She enjoyed baking and will be remembered by her memorable smile. She attended Eagle Valley Bible Church.

She is survived by her two daughters, Shirley A. (LeRoy) Stalbosky, of Evart, Mich. and Jane L. (William) Mease of State College; her son, Thomas M. (Donna) Wilson of Bellefonte; her three sisters, Goldie Corman, of Bellefonte, Doris Mackey, of Monument and Helen Hilligus, of Beaver Dam, NY; her three brothers, Robert (Ute) Confer of Washington, Richard (Lee) Confer of New Jersey and Ernest Confer of Mill Hall. Also surviving Ella are her six grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.

Along with her parents and her husband, Ella was preceded in death by her nine brothers, Taylor Confer, Daniel Confer, Lester Confer, Glenn Confer, James Confer, Jr., Jerry Confer, George Confer, Walter Confer and William Confer; and her five sisters, Edith Robinson, Roberta Blair, Ruth Egan, Thelma Bloom and Betty Gorham.

Services will be held at the Eagle Valley Bible Church, 1426 N. Eagle Valley Road, Howard, on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. with Pastor Stephen R. Hicks officiating. Family and friends will be received at the Eagle Valley Bible Church on Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 6 PM to 8 PM. Burial will be in Pine Hall Cemetery, State College.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, Milesburg, Pa.
