Elma E. Garrison, 98 of Farmington, N.M., formerly of of Mackeyville, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at her home.
Elma is preceded in death by her husband Cecil E. Garrison, two sons; Glen and Dean Garrison and one daughter; Alice Moon.
She is survived by a son; Mahlon (Judy) Garrison; daughter-in-law Mary E. Garrison, Grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Elma was born on September 7, 1915 in Missouri to Lawrence A. and Novella C. Esser. Along with her husband, Cecil, Elma Wrote and published many children's books, poems, and church pamphlets.
Friends and family will be received Saturday, December 7, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. till time of service at 11:00 a.m. at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 Main Street, Howard. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with Mahlon Garrison and Ed McCartney officiating. Burial will be at the Hublersburg Cemetery in Howard Twp.
