Obituary of Emily B. Klingler, 77

Emily B. Klingler, 77, of Morrisdale, passed away peacefully at her home on February 27, 2018. Born on November 17, 1940, in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Ralph D. and Alice B. Biddle Confer. On December 16, 1964 in Spring Mills, she married George W. “Dee” Klingler. Dee passed away on May 14, 1990.

Emily attended the Penns Valley High School. She worked for City Clean in State College in the Janitorial Department, retiring in 2015 after 15 years of service.

Emily attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Morrisdale. She enjoyed gardening, canning vegetables, shopping, attending auctions, and antiquing. She was an avid card player and love to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Emily is survived by her four children; Deborah M. Klingler of Winburne, Dean L. Klingler and his wife, Kim, of Morrisdale, David G. Klingler of Morrisdale, and Daisy S. Puttillion of Clearfield, one brother, Charlie Confer and his wife, Dianne, of Spring Mills, 15 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband, Emily was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna K. Conklin, two brothers; Perry Confer & Lazel Confer, and two sisters; Pauline Confer & Esther Royer.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 6-8pm at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home, in Snow Shoe. Funeral services will be Friday, March 2, 2018 at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Catherine Dittman officiating. Burial will be Fruit Hill Cemetery in Ansonville.
