Ernest Addison Clinger, 65, of Centre Hall, died May 28, 2009, at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Born December 4, 1943, in New Bloomfield, Perry County, he was a son of the late James Russell and Lydia Isabella (Jones) Clinger.

On March 18, 1989, in Centre Hall he married Lisa M. Craig, who survives at home.

Ernest was a truck driver for Herbert R. Imbt Co., from 1983 until his retirement in July 2005. He was a US Army Veteran. He enjoyed deer hunting, riding motorcycles and spending time with his wife.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two son; Russell Allen Clinger of Spokane, WA and David Lee Clinger and his wife Nicole of Belle Vernon; two brothers: James A. of Clearfield and Herbert L. of Pine Grove; five grandchildren and a great granddaughter. He is also survived by Peanut Addison who he adopted from the SPCA on April 10, 2009.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Archie L.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2009, from 2-4 PM and 7- 9 PM at the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services, 1034 Benner Pike, State College. A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 4, 2009 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home with the Reverend Renee Ford officiating. Burial will follow at Centre County Memorial Park with military honors.
