Obituary of Ethel L. Ault, 89

Ethel L. Ault, 89, of Bellefonte, passed away at home on Saturday, November 24, 2018. Born in Bellefonte, on March 22, 1929, she was the daughter of the late David and Laura (Summers) Hendershot. She was married to the love of her life, Harland E. Ault, who preceded her in death on March 3, 2003.

Ethel was a 1948 graduate of Bellefonte High School.

Ethel is survived by three children, Thomas Ault (Diane), Barbara Ault, Marjorie Ranio (Ted), and one daughter-in-law, Sharon, all of Pleasant Gap; nine grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by one son, James Ault, on July 15, 2012, and 12 siblings; she was the last of her generation.

She was a member of the Pleasant Gap United Methodist Church. She and Harland loved to travel around the country in their camper bus. They enjoyed fishing, Grange Fair and going to garage sales and flea markets. She also enjoyed hand quilting.

There will be a public viewing held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 10-11am at Pleasant Gap United Methodist Church at 179 S. Main Street, Pleasant Gap, PA 16823. Funeral services will immediately follow at the church at 11am with Pastor Crystal Baumgardner officiating. Burial will follow at Centre County Memorial Park in State College.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Gap United Methodist Church at 179 S. Main Street, Pleasant Gap, PA 16823.
