Obituary of Eva Frantz, 91

Eva C. Frantz, 91, of Pleasant Gap died Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at her home.

She was born July 18, 1922 in Westbury, New York, a daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah Van Wickler Iannotti.

On April 21, 1941 she married her husband Paul who preceded her in death on July 2, 2010. They were married for 69 years.

For over 50 years she was an active member of St John’s Catholic Church in Bellefonte and also a member of the Pleasant Gap Women’s club. She enjoyed reading, cross word puzzles, bingo, trying new recipes, and visiting with her children, grandchildren and friends. She came from a large family of 5 brothers and 9 sisters: 3 of the brothers and 2 of the sisters have preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughter Jeanne Stewart and her husband Warren, of Lewistown; and two sons, David and his wife Sherri of Warrenton, Ga., and John and his wife Maria of Baltimore, Maryland. In addition to her children she is survived by 9 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

Friends will be received from 12 – 1 PM on Friday, August 23, 2013 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, 1034 Benner Pike, State College. The funeral will follow immediately at 1 PM at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at the Garden Mausoleum at the Centre County Memorial Park, State College.
