Eva Mae Heisey, 88, of Centre Hall, died on Friday, March 19, 2010 at the Wynwood House in Centre Hall.

She was born December 2, 1922, in Manheim, Lancaster County, a daughter of the late Roy and Emma Sharpe Brubaker.

On May 14, 1949, she married Aaron Heisey who survives at the Wynwood House in Centre Hall.

Mrs. Heisey was a homemaker and assisted her husband on the family farm and with their retail potato business. She was an active member of Colyer Brethren in Christ Church. Spending time with her family at their camp site in Decker Valley was one of the things she enjoyed most.

Surviving Mrs. Heisey are one daughter, Thelma Bonchack and her husband Joseph Jr. of Bellefonte; two sons, Ronald Heisey and his wife Mary Ann of Lewistown, and Jay Donald Heisey of Richfield; eleven grandchildren, Tammy Strouse, Pamela Shreffler, and Steve Bonchack, Gail Cello, Charles Jr. and Shawn Fye, Jeremy, Amanda, Hanna, Katie and Brian Heisey; seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson; one sister, Ruth Greenley of Manheim; and two brothers, Arthur and Henry Brubaker of the Manheim area.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, LeRoy S. and J. Marlin Brubaker.

Friends will be received from 6:00 – 9:00 PM, Monday March 22, 2010 and 10:00 AM until time of the Funeral Services on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Service, 226 S. Pennsylvania Ave. Centre Hall, PA. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, beginning at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with the Reverend Darrell Smucker officiating. Burial will be in the Zion Hill Cemetery, Colyer.
