Obituary of Florence (Auman) Vonada, 75

Florence (Auman) Vonada, 75, of Rebersburg passed away on May 25, 2015 at Wynwood House, Centre Hall. She was born December 13, 1939 to Harry A. Auman and Saphrona H. Guisewhite. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Glenn E. Vonada.

Florence was employed as a secretary for Laurelton State Mental Hospital. She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Good Sam Club, Thousand Trails Campground, and Ladies Aid. Florence also enjoyed camping and spending time with family.

She is survived by her brother, Jim Auman of Lewisburg; niece, Wendy (John) Dauberman; and nephews, Greg and Scott Auman; her extended family, Ronald Sr. and Shirley Rishel, their children and grandchildren; and last but not least, her loving feline companions, Daisy and Tigger.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 6 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Rebersburg with Pastor Michael Covalt officiating. Florence will be laid to rest at the St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery.
