George F. Jordan 81, of Fleming passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pa. George was born on August 20, 1935 in Bellefonte a son of the late George B. and Sarah R. Albert Jordan. On June 18, 1960 he married the former Pauline L. Struble who survives at home. George is also survived by his son, Jeffrey A. (Karen Gastley-Jordan) Jordan of Harrisburg and his daughter, Kathy J. (Richard) Kephart of Kittanning, and his grandson Shane J. Kephart. George is also survived by his sisters, Evelyn Baylson, Theresa Siwulich, and Fran Knisley and his brother, Dave Jordan.

George was a veteran having served in the 1950’s being stationed in Georgia and Newfoundland. George had worked at Cold, Inc., the PA Fish Commission, and retired from Cerro Copper & Brass from the Tool & Die Department after 39 years. He has been happily retired for the past 18 years.

George enjoyed hunting, fishing, raising farm animals, bird watching, horseback riding, shooting pool, riding motorcycles and tinkering. He could fix anything! He also enjoyed spending time with his grandson, Shane.

He was a member of The State College Alliance Church, Bellefonte Loyal Order of Moose, Beech Creek American Legion, and the Unionville Grange.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Leo Jordan, Fred Jordan, Earl Jordan, Charles Jordan, and Ed Jordan, and his sisters, Marie Bloom, Rita Schager and Elsie Barnhart.

Memorial Services will be held at The State College Alliance Church, 1221 West Whitehall Road, State College at 3:30 P.M. with Pastor Chad Oberholtzer, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The State College Alliance Church, 1221 West Whitehall Road, State College PA. 16801 in Memory of George F. Jordan.
