Obituary of Gladys Kellerman , 95

Gladys D. Kellerman, 95, of Bellefonte, passed away at Centre Crest on Thursday, August 27, 2015. Gladys was born on May 14, 1920 in Bellefonte, the daughter of the late Victor and Louisa Straub Dawson.

In June, 1938 she married Paul H. Kellerman, who preceded her in death on April 8, 1978. She was a member of the Curtin United Methodist Church. She also attended the Berean Baptist Church of State College. Gladys was a 1938 graduate of the Bellefonte High School. Gladys was a homemaker and was employed at Bell Telephone as an operator, she also worked at Penn State University and was a retiree from Sears. She enjoyed reading, poetry, TV, country music and spending time with her family. She was a charter member of the Milesburg-Boggs Twp. Senior Citizens.

Gladys is survived by her two daughters; Brenda (Gary) Hile of Centre Hall and Nanette (William) Lutz of Doylestown, her two sons, Paul (Barbara) Kellerman, Jr. of Beech Creek and Mark Kellerman of Snow Shoe. She is also survived by her sister, Sara Coslo of Hollidaysburg, her nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by her grandson, William Kellerman and her two brothers, Dale Dawson and Gilbert Dawson.

Services will be held at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring Street, Milesburg on Monday, August 31, 2015 at 2 PM. Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Monday, August 31, 2015 from 1 PM until 2 PM. Internment will be in the Advent Cemetery, Boggs Twp., Centre Co.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Berean Baptist Church of State College, c/o Kris Porter, 380 Tusseyville Road, Centre Hall, Pa. 16828, in memory of Gladys D. Kellerman.
