Gregg C. Allen, 55, passed away on October 27, 2018 at home. He was born March 6, 1963 in Morristown, NJ to Albina (Szarek) Allen and the late John Allen.

In addition to his wife Michele, he is survived by his daughters, Colleen and Kendall. He was preceded in death by his infant son, Ryan. Gregg is also survived by his siblings, Bonnie Allen, married to George Thode, of Bridgewater, NJ; Carolyn Sullivan, married to Frank, also of Bridgewater NJ; and John, of Bloomsburg, PA. Additionally, he is survived by many nieces and nephews as well as a very close extended family. He had the biggest heart and was the light in the lives of many people.

Throughout his career, Gregg worked as an engineer and held executive positions at companies including Centrex Precision Plastics and Sound Technology.

Gregg was a talented leader, a supportive mentor, and a valued colleague. An avid distance athlete, he competed in marathons and triathlons, including the Tussey Mountainback Ultramarathon and Ironman Canada.

Known for his positive attitude, Gregg was adored by his family and friends. He was known for always being the first one to pitch his tent at Shaver's Creek Summer Camp. Not only did he attend every dance recital and debate tournament that he could, but he was also a patient, encouraging, and loving father and husband. He was a wonderful singer.

Visitation will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, at Koch Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Victory Church Wednesday, October 31 at 10:30 a.m. A private family burial will be held at St. John the Baptist Church Cemetery, New Baltimore, PA.
