Harrison R. “Hank” Holler, 70, of Snow Shoe, with his loving family by his side, went to be with his Lord on Friday, July 22, 2011. Born on September 22, 1940, in Strattonville, PA, he was the son of the late Harry R. Holler & Evelyn Henry Holler Krone. On December 31, 1966, at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church in Clarence, he married Mildred Mae Rogus, who survives at home.
Hank was a 1958 graduate from Bald Eagle Area High School. He served in US Army as a E-4 Specialist, Heavy Equipment Operator from 1958 until 1961.
Hank was a truck driver for Wal-Mart until his retirement in 2007.
He was a member of the Queen of Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Clarence, Milesburg American Legion Post 893, the Snow Shoe Fire Hall, and the Three Point Sportsmen Club.
Hank was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was an avid fly fisherman, who enjoyed hunting and his time spent with friends at camp Krotchkey. But, his greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren.
Hank is survived by his wife, son, Christopher H. Holler, and his wife, Sheree, of Grassflat, daughter, Leslie A. Holler of Snow Shoe, grandson, Luke Harrison Holler of Grassflat and granddaughter, Sarah Mae Holler of Grassflat.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Lillian Helms.
He is also survived by his half brother, Emanuel Krone of Bellefonte.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, July 25, 2011 from 6-8pm with a rosary being said at 7:45pm at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home, 106 W Sycamore St, Snow Shoe. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at 11am at the Queen of Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Clarence with Father Lubomir Strecok officiating. Military honors will be given following Mass by the American Legion Post 813 and American VFW Post 5644 honor guard. Committal will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
