Obituary of Harry Poorman III, 70

Harry E. Poorman III, 70, of Bellefonte, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Centre Crest Nursing Home in Bellefonte. Born on July 24, 1946, he was the son of the lateHarry E and Margaret (Jones) Poorman II.

He was a graduate of Bellefonte Area High School. He served in the U.S. Army then went to work as a miner at Graymont.

He is survived by one son, Harry E. Poorman IV (Kim) of Bellefonte, one brother Gary E. Poorman (Vivian) of Bellefonte, two grandchildren, Jacob R. Poorman and Cassi J. Poorman, two great-grandchildren, Parker Poorman and Archer Poorman.

In addition to his parents and former wife, Linda Gilbert, he was preceded in death by one son, Chade.

He was a member of the Bellefonte Undine Fire Co. He enjoyed photography, watching old western movies, using his metal detector, and spending time with his long time four-legged companion, Tizzy the Cat.

There will a private graveside service at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., Bellefonte.
