Obituary of Helen Hull

Helen V. Hull, of Buffalo Run Road, Bellefonte, joined her loved ones in Heaven on Monday, July 15, 2013, passing away at home at the age of 97. A daughter of the late James Earl and Sudie (Rumberger) Crust, she was born January 24, 1916, in Bellefonte. In 1943, she married Leonard “Pat” Hull, who preceded her in death on January 26, 1988.

Helen was a homemaker and owned the Fillmore General Store along with her husband Pat. She was an active member of the Fillmore United Methodist Church for over 75 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Shuffstall and her husband Bill of Bellefonte; three grandchildren, Kristen Gresh and her husband John, Shannon Luckovich-Alsup and her husband Carl, and Drew Cingel; along with two great grandchildren, Winter and Kya Gresh.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Arlene Woodie of West Virginia; two brothers, Lester and Bernard Crust of Bellefonte; and a son-in-law, Jerry Luckovich of Bellefonte.

A public visitation will be held on Friday, July 19, 2013 from 9-11 A.M. at the Fillmore United Methodist Church, 2262 Buffalo Run Rd, Bellefonte. A funeral service will follow at 11 A.M. with Rev. Calvin Miller officiating. Burial will be in Meyer Cemetery, Benner Township.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fillmore United Methodist Church.
