Helen Patricia Padisak, 82, of Clarence, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2015. After an extended illness, she crossed heaven's veil to be with the Lord. She departed this life in the comfort of her home, surrounded by loved ones. Born on September 14, 1932, in Clarence, she was the daughter of the late John A. & Kathryn Schall Salvanish.

Helen attended Clarence Elementary School. As a teenager she worked at Balash Grocery store in Clarence for several years. It was there that she first met the love of her life, George A. They were the epitome of love that endures all things, staying together in sickness and in health.

In 1997, Helen retired from Hanover Brands, Inc. where she was employed for 31 years. She was a devout member of the Queen of Archangels Catholic Parish in Clarence and, in 1992; she achieved her dream of traveling to Europe with a Catholic tour group. She and George also traveled to South Africa.

Helen was an avid reader, enjoyed doing word search and crossword puzzles, and loved playing bingo. She was great at gardening, cooking, and anything she set her mind to do. She was the best Mom and Mimi ever! She was a huge supporter of various charities. She will be missed by all who knew her. Helen cared deeply and lived peacefully; the impact she left on her family and friends will always be remembered. Her legacy will live on in the many hearts she has touched. As her family, we rejoice that she is with loved ones. We look forward to the day we will be reunited with her.
