Our beloved Jackie Lee Hunter Jr., 24, of State College died Sunrise, October 22, 2013 in State College, PA.

Jackie Lee or “Munchie” as we lovingly called him, had a pure, innocent spirit. There’s nothing he wouldn’t do for his family and his friends. Our beloved had a kind heart and a warm spirit. He was our son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. Most of all, he was a child of God. Our hearts are heavy but our memories are forever engrained. We thank you Jackie Lee for loving us and we will NEVER forget you, beloved, nor will any of those that had the opportunity to know you.

Born on February 8, 1989 in State College, he is a son of Jackie Lee Hunter Sr. of Beaver Falls, and Vicki A. (Helton) Edwards and her husband Kevin of State College.

Jackie Lee was a graduate of State College Area High School, Class of 2007. Currently, he was enrolled at South Hills Business School in State College.

Mr. Hunter had also attended the State College Assembly of God.

He enjoyed football; basketball; working with electronics, especially computers and phones; and most importantly to him, spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Tarah R. Hunter of State College; two brothers, John M. Hunter and Michael C. Hunter, both of State College; maternal grandmother, Mary Jane Helton; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who love him dearly.

Jackie Lee was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John M. Helton, formerly of State College; paternal grandmother, Jeanie Hunter and paternal grandfather, Peter Mali, both formerly of Beaver Falls.

Family will receive friends for a closed casket visitation on Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 1:30 PM until the time of his Celebration of Life at 2:30 PM at the State College Assembly of God, 2201 University Drive Extension, State College with Pastor Steve Silliman officiating.
