Obituary of James Buchanan, 71

James P. Buchanan, 71 of Bellefonte, passed away at his home on Sunday, April 20, 2014. He was born in Williamsport, Pa. on September 28, 1942, the son of the late Kenneth and Samantha Williams Buchanan.

He married the former Patricia G. Weston who preceded him on January 20, 2008.

Jim proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He was of the Protestant faith. He was a member of the Bellefonte VFW and Eagles. He enjoyed fishing and hunting as well as building bird houses.

His greatest enjoyment came in spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by three daughters; Lisa, Jamie, and Tonia, five sons; Mike, Scott, Frank, Bryan, and James. He is also survived by his companion Barbara and 42 grand and great-grandchildren. He was preceded by a sister; Leah Dickey.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
