Obituary of James E. Robison Jr., 58

James E. Robison, Jr., 58, of Port Matilda, died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010, at home. He was born June 1, 1951, a son of Norma J. (McQuillen) Robinson, of Port Matilda and the late James E. Robison, Sr. On Feb. 14, 1970, he married Nancy (Moore) Robison, who survives at home.

He was a 1969 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School. He retired after 35 years of service from Penn State University where he was a police service officer. He was a member of the Church of God, Port Matilda. He was a member of Bald Eagle FOP Lodge #51.

In addition to his mother and wife he is survived by two daughters, Lisa McClellan and her husband Thomas, of Milesburg, and Tonia Rudy and her husband Dean, of Port Matilda; one son, James E. Robison, III and his wife Shawna, of Philipsburg; three brothers, Rev. Ronald L. Robison and his wife Cindy, of Russell, N.Y., Gerald M. Robison and his wife Tina, of Julian, and Darrell L. Robison and his wife Linda, of Julian; one sister, Sherry L. Moore and her husband Luke, of Port Matilda RD; and three grandchildren, Douglas Allen, Hunter Thomas and Shelby Lynn. He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral Services will be held at the David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, 228 N. Centre St. Philipsburg, on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010 at 11 a.m. with Rev. David R. Spaugh officiating. Burial will be at Black Oak United Methodist Cemetery, Port Matilda. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday, Feb. 26, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
