James G. Reigh,71, of Milesburg passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at his home. He was born on August 26, 1945 in Altoona, the son of the late Judson F. and Margaret J. Adams Reigh.

He is survived by his wife, the former Jean G. Davis (Reigh).

Jim was an Engineer at Bell Atlantic and an Engineer in Telecommunications at Penn State University. He was a member of the Milesburg Presbyterian Church, where he served as a Church Elder. He was past President of the Milesburg Borough Council and also of the Milesburg Sewer Authority and a member of the Bellefonte Elks Lodge #1094. Jim was a selfless individual, always putting others needs and wants above himself. He enjoyed woodworking and hunting, when he wasn't helping others.

Along with his wife, Jim is survived by his son, Dan (Glenda) Ripka of Milesburg; his daughters, Carol A. Kushwara of Bellefonte, her late husband Vincent W. Kushwara, Jr. Karen S. (Dave) Young of Montoursville, Kimberly A. (Harry) Poorman of Bellefonte; his brother, Judson”Ted” F. (Sharen) Reigh, Jr. of Milesburg and his sister, Cheri (Jack) Mustin of Virginia Beach. Also surviving are his six grandchildren; Eric White, Lindsey Houseknecht, Heather Redmond, Dalton Young, Marissa Burd, Pamala Sharp and his eleven great-grandchildren. Jim was cherished by his many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Gene Reigh and Richard Adams.

Family and friends will be received at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring St. Milesburg on Monday, February 27, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at the Milesburg Presbyterian Church , 103 Turnpike St., Milesburg on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Dr. Charles Curley and Speaker David Dimmick officiating. Burial will be in Eagle Cemetery, Boggs Twp., Centre Co. Memorial contributions may be made to Milesburg Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 837, Milesburg, PA. 16853 in Memory of James G. Reigh.
