Jane Margaret Heverly, 97, of Pleasant Gap, formerly of Blanchard, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College. Born on June 2, 1920, in Monument, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Grace Sankey Gummo. On December 14, 1937, in Cumberland, MD, she married Harold Heverly. Harold passed away on May 22, 2012.

Jane was a 1937 graduate of Lock Haven High School. She was a homemaker.
Jane was a member of the Howard Christian Church. She was also a member of the Beech Creek Senior Club. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren.

Jane is survived by her three sons; Jerry Heverly and his wife, Judy, of Mill Hall, David Heverly and his wife, Nancy, of Blanchard, and Dennis Heverly of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, one daughter, Rebecca Holter and her husband, Russell of Howard and one brother, Tom Gummo of Parowan, Utah.

Also surviving Jane are her seven grandchildren; Jewel Sansom, Amy Guckenburger, Tracy Madden, Jackie Heverly, Duane Heverly, Barbie Weaver, and Jane Rawlenson, ten great grandchildren; Tara Lewis, Brandon Sansom, Zack Sansom, Hanna Sansom, Bethany Heverly, Kimberly Heverly, Stephanie Guckenburger, Kaitlyn Ingram, Seth Weaver, and Kaimin Madden, and by four great-great grandchildren; Kaiden Heverly, Amelia Ventura, Sawyer Sansom, and Nora Lewis

Visitation will be on Sunday, January 28, 2018 from 3-4pm at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home in Howard. Funeral services will follow at 4pm at the funeral home with Pastor Don Crane officiating. Burial will be at Hays Fearon Cemetery in Beech Creek.
