Obituary of Janet McClellan, 81

Janet L. Davis McClellan, 81, of Milesburg died Friday, November 29, 2013 at her residence.

Janet was born June 16, 1932 in Bellefonte. She had worked for Bell Telephone, G.C. Murphy and the Jordon Center. Janet was a 1950 graduate of Bellefonte High School. Janet was a member of Milesburg Presbyterian Church. She was the daughter of the late Paul Thomas Davis and Rebecca Susan Felmlee. Her husband Lewis D. “Lew” McClellan preceded her in death December 5, 1989.

She is survived by three daughters, Mary Sue (David) Corl of Milesburg, Kathy (John) Eckley of Brisbin and Norma (John) Stull of Milesburg; two sons, Scott McClellan of Milesburg and Thomas (Lisa) McClellan also of Milesburg; three sisters, Margaret Davidson of Milesburg, Jean (James) Reigh of Milesburg and Joyce(Melvin) Snook of Hixson, TN; seven grandchildren, Julie Corl (Jeff) Stoltz, Travis Eckley, Toby Dugal ( Kayleen Sidisky), Hunter McClellan, Casey McClellan, Gabe McClellan and Nick McClellan; three great-grandchildren, Madison Eckley, Gavin Eckley and Jillian Stoltz. She is also survived by her special friend, George Shawley. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Malone and one brother Thomas Davis.

Services will be held at Milesburg Presbyterian Church, 103 Turnpike St., Milesburg, Pa. on Monday, December 2, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Barbara E. Mosch officiating. Family and Friends will be received on Monday, December 2, 2013 from 11 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. time of the services at the church. Burial will be in Centre Co., Memorial Park, College Twp., Centre Co., Pa.
