Janice L. Snoberger, 77, of Julian, died August 18, 2015, at Mount Nittany Medical Center. She was born July 6, 1938, in Bellefonte, the daughter of the late Martin L. and Esther King Spotts. On November 23, 1957 she married George C. Snoberger who survives at home.
Janice was a Payroll Clerk at SMS Sutton Engineer. Janice was a big Pittsburgh Pirate and Penn State football fan. She enjoyed reading. She also enjoyed watching all of her grandson's activities. Janice and her husband, George, traveled 49 of the 50 states by motorcycle. They also traveled all of the Provinces of Canada and toured all of Germany. She was a member of the GWRRA Chapter S. of Altoona. She was a member of the Brookside Wesleyan Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Betsy A. Snoberger, of Pittsburgh; two sons, Jeffrey S. (Dorothy) Snoberger, of Howard and Gregory A. (Wendy) Snoberger, of Woolrich Township, N.J.; two sisters, Donna S. Titus, of Sherman, Texas and Pauline A. Spotts, of Julian; two brothers, Philip L. Spotts, of Waterford and Lynn M. Spotts, of Mt. Dora, Fla; and one grandchild, Hunter S. Snoberger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Fred A. Spotts and Ronald W. Spotts.
Services will be held at Brookside Wesleyan Church, 403 Bush Hollow Road, Julian, PA on Saturday, August 22, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Robert “Bo” King officiating. Family and friends will be received on Friday, August 21, 2015, from 6-8 p.m. at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring Street, Milesburg, PA and also one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Bush Hollow Cemetery, Union Township, Centre County. Memorial contributions may be made to the Brookside Wesleyan Church, 403 Bush Hollow Road, Julian, PA 16844. Arrangements are under the direction of Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, Milesburg.
