Obituary of Jean Bloom, 90

Jean E. Bloom, 90, of Pine Grove Mills, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2014, at Centre Crest, in Bellefonte. A daughter of the late Samuel and Carrie (Hazel) Richards, she was born on January 15, 1924, in Bellefonte. She married John W. Bloom, Sr, who preceded her in death.

Jean is survived by two daughters; Peggy A. Eggler, Linda Rogers, one son, Fred Bloom,
two sisters; Nell Zerby, Louise Hendershot, along with 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Shirley Lehman, one son, John W. Bloom, Jr, 4 brothers and 1 sister.

All services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jean’s memory to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 2080 Lingletown Rd. #104, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
