Obituary of Jean Geraldine Williams , 91

Jean G. Williams, 91, of Pleasant Gap, died Thursday, April 25, 2013, at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College.

Born February 23, 1922, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Ned and Julia Kane Heverly. On April 19, 1941 she married W.E. “Woody” Williams, who died on February 22, 2006.

She is survived by four children, James Williams and his wife, Betsy, of Linden Hall, Michael Williams and his wife, Mary Jane, of Boalsburg, Kathy Hoke and her husband, James, of Alexandria, VA, Mary Lou Pavone and her husband, Anthony, of Annville, ten grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and a great grandchild number twelve on the way in six weeks. She was preceded in death by three sisters; Peg Heverly Sciabica, Helen Heverly Valenti, Sister Julia Marie Heverly and two brothers; Ned Heverly and Clarence Heverly.

Jean was a 1940 graduate of Bellefonte High School and a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.

Visitation will be 6 until 8 p.m., Sunday, April 28, 2013 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 29, 2013 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 820 Westerly Parkway, State College with Monsignor David Lockard officiating.

Burial will be in Centre County Memorial Park.
