Jeanne M. Prebosky, 79, of Bellefonte, passed away suddenly on Friday, December 29, 2017 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Born on May 1, 1938, in Snow Shoe, she was the daughter of the late Pauline Hayes Preslovich.

Jeanne is a 1956 graduate of Snow Shoe High School. She was a member of the Queen of Archangels Roman Catholic Parish Chapel in Snow Shoe and was attending the St. John Catholic Church in Bellefonte. She was a cashier for Hall’s Market, retiring after 30 years of service.

Jeanne enjoyed visiting with family and friends, going to the Centre County Grange Fair and the Clearfield County Fair to see the nightly entertainment, going shopping, eating out, and Country Music. She liked to watch television, some of her favorite shows were on Lifetime and Hallmark and HGTV. She looked forward to family functions and family dinners. Her favorite pastime was cleaning. She absolutely loved to clean and have everything in its place.

Jeanne is survived by her two daughters; Melinda J. Ishler and her husband, Wendell, and Melody A. Kitchen and her husband, Michael, all of Bellefonte. She is also survived by one grandson, Dillon M. Kitchen of Bellefonte and one sister, Cathy Underwood and her husband, Charles, of Enola, PA.

Along with her parents, Jeanne was preceded in death by two brothers, William Burns and Larry Preslovich.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 6-8pm with a rosary service at 7:45pm at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Snow Shoe. Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 11am at the Queen of Archangel Roman Catholic Parish Chapel in Snow Shoe with Father Michael Wolfe officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Snow Shoe.
