Obituary of Jeanne Miller, 89

Jeanne Reichley Miller, 89, of Bellefonte, died Sunday, April 30, 2017, at Mt. Nittany Medical Center.

Born May 28, 1927, in Selinsgrove, she was the daughter of the late Frederick S. and Edith F. Bilger Reichley.

Besides her parents, she has a loving family of sisters, husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces, and cherished friends.

Jeanne was a 1945 graduate of Selinsgrove High School. She attended Drexel University, Philadelphia.

She was a member of the State College Presbyterian Church.

Her legacy is in the support and love for advancing her husband's and sons' successes in their careers and lives, to live life with charity, loyalty, compassion and humor toward others. She enjoyed parties and gatherings, singing and dancing, and breaking a few rules along the way. She would often remark, “Remember me with laughter, or don't remember me at all.” Her final place of rest reads, “Once met, never forgotten.”

A private celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.

Graveside service and burial will be held on May 13, 2017, at Six Oaks Cemetery, 175 Greenwood Drive, Hilton Head, SC.

Memorial contributions may be made to ALSM, The Oaks, 200 Rachel Drive, Pleasant Gap, PA 16823 with memo notation “In memory of Jeanne Miller – charitable care”.
