Obituary of John Lowery, 94

John H. Lowery, 94, of Hublersburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Centre Crest Nursing Home in Bellefonte. Born on September 21, 1922, in Bellefonte, he was the son of the late Merrill and Mary Tice Lowery.

John attended the Walker Township School. He was of the protestant faith.

John worked at various farms throughout Nittany Valley. He loved being on the tractor, plowing the earth, and growing things. He was a man that enjoyed tinkering around the house and yard, hunting, and helping people in any way he could. He loved his circle of friends and being with his family.

John is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; Donald and Sheldon. John was the last of his generation.
