Obituary of Joyce Spangler, 72

Joyce E. Spangler, 72 of Blanchard, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2011 at the Fulmers Personal Care Home in Lock Haven. She was born in Marion Twp., Centre Co.on November 20, 1938, the daughter of the late John and Elsie Jane Rossman Dietz.

On November 22, 1956 she married James F. Spangler who preceded her in death.

Joyce had been employed at Bobbi Brooks Clothing and retired from Woolrich in Blanchard after many years of service. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Blanchard.

She is survived by one daughter; Patricia and husband John Rupert of Mackeyville. Two brothers; Jerry of Marsh Creek and Rodney of Bellefonte. She is also survived by two grandchildren; Kayla and Justin Rupert and one great granddaughter; Tacie.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 W. Main Street, Howard, with the Rev. Donald Fornwalt officiating. There will be a public visitation from 9:00 – 11:00 prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday. Burial will be at the Baptist Cemetery in Blanchard.
