Judith Ann Densevich, 79, of Bellefonte died Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born on August 8, 1939 in Scranton, the daughter of the late Emil Robert and Angeline Notari.

In 1959 in Altoona she married Francis Andrew Densevich who survives. Judy is also survived by two daughters, Kimberly Susan Lessard and her husband, Daniel, of Chestertown, MD and Dana Lynn Mulligan and her husband, Michael, of Woodstown, NJ; also surviving are her brother, Robert Emil Notari and his wife, Mary, of Mt. Pleasant, SC. and three grandchildren, Devin, Kelsey and Francis.

Judy graduated from Central High School in Scranton where she excelled as a twirler and was a member of National Honor Society. She attended Penn State and graduated in 1961 with a degree in mathematics.

Judy worked at Bell Labs and did computer work on America's first satellite. She later worked for the Vineland, NJ Public School system as a math teacher and advisor to the Bridge Club, National Honor Society, Penn State academic recruiting team, and the local Alumni Association. Judy and Francis retired to Centre County and have participated in many PSU clubs and organizations. She was a member of the St. John's Episcopal Church in Bellefonte and was secretary to the Council of Churches. Judy also participated in a Bridge Club that benefits the hospital. She worked with a group that attended Eagle Valley every other Tuesday and played the piano for them to sing. She played the piano and organ for many area churches and for weddings. She tutored students in her home in math and piano.

Friends will be received at St John's Episcopal Church, 120 West Lamb St, Bellefonte, PA 16823 on Saturday December 1, 2018 from 10:30 am until 11 am followed by a Memorial Service at 11 am with Rev. Carlton Kelley officiating. Inurnment will be in the church columbarium.
