Obituary of Kenneth C. Reese, Sr., 71

Kenneth C. Reese, Sr., 71, of Pleasant Gap, went home to with the Lord on June 22, 2009.

Born October 13, 1937, in Runville, PA, he was a son of the late Charles and Alice (Woomer) Reese. He was a 1955 graduate of Bellefonte High School. On August 14, 1955, he married Gladis O. Gearhart, who preceded him in death on April 27, 2006.

In 1988, he retired as a weigh master from Cerro Metal and Brass. In his healthy years, he was a member of the Pleasant Gap Fire Company and active with the carnival. He also enjoyed woodworking and gardening. As his health declined, he loved doing puzzles.

Ken is survived by three sons, Ken C. Reese, Jr. of Pleasant Gap and his daughters, Heidi and Brittany, and her son Jace, James Reese of Pleasant Gap and his son, Ryan, David Reese and his wife Tammie, and daughter, Alexandra, of Salisbury, MD; and one daughter, Stephanie Reese and her daughter Abigail, of Pleasant Gap. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Gertrude Gearhart of Milesburg and a sister-in-law Lilly Reese of Billings, MT

Friends will be received Thursday, June 25, 2009, from 7-9 PM at the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services, 1034 Benner Pike, State College. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, June 26, 2009, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Centre County Memorial Park, State College.
