Kenneth E. Fleming, 74, of Centre Hall died Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He was born in Lewistown on November 2, 1940 a son of the late Ray Houser Fleming Sr. and Marietta (Hutchinson) Fleming.

Ken was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving from 1959-1962. After returning home, Ken became a police officer serving with the Metropolitan Washington DC Police Department retiring as a Sergeant in 1985. In 1990 Ken and his wife, Kay returned to Central PA, and he worked for 16 years as a radio technician with Centre Communications in Bellefonte.

Mr. Fleming was a member of the FOP, the Henry Knox Field Masonic Lodge in Virginia and held life memberships in both the NRA and the Clinton County Sportsman’s Club. He enjoyed skeet and target shooting, going to gun shows, and hunting.

Ken is survived by his wife, Kay (Stapelkamp) Fleming of Centre Hall; a brother, Ray (Barbara) Fleming of Wysox, PA; a niece, Rebecca Robinson of Sparta, NJ; a nephew Jonathan (Carrie) Fleming of Dauphin, PA; 2 great nieces, Rhiannon Fleming of Dauphin, PA and Madison Robinson of Sparta, NJ; and a great nephew, Patrick Robinson, also of Sparta, NJ.
