Kenneth “Ken” Eugene Noel, 63, of State College died Saturday, December 1, 2018, at his residence.
Born May 6, 1955, in Bellefonte, he was the son of the late Ernest and Dora Mae (Kline) Noel. On September 13, 2008, in State College, he married Karen (Rhule) Noel who survives at home.
Ken was a photographer in Boston and New York City before returning home to State College to open his business, Ken Noel Photography. He enjoyed golfing, watching football, playing with his dog Tucker and vacationing in Cape May, NJ. He especially loved being with his friends and family and playing with his grandkids.
In addition to his wife he is survived by one sister, Debbie (Kean) McCready of Mesa, AZ; one uncle, Charles Noel of State College; two stepdaughters, Aimee L. Haldeman of Harrisburg and Julie H. (Steven) Czajkowski of Pittsburgh; two grandchildren, Ben and Lila Czajkowski of Pittsburgh; one nephew, Ryan McCready of Mesa, AZ; one niece, Chelse (Brandon) Hayes of Mesa, AZ.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2018, at the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral Home, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 7, 2018, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Centre County Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ken’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
