Obituary of Kenneth G. Woomer, 63

Kenneth G. Woomer, 63 of Bellefonte, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2014 at his home. He was born on October 3, 1951, a son of the late Lester Woomer and Marietta Gordon Woomer.

On March 21, 1976, he married Jane D. Yearick, who preceded him in death.

Ken was a graduate of Lock Haven High School class of 1969. He was employed with Houser Vending for over 35 years. He was a member of Camp One Point. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed gardening.

He is survived by one daughter, Kimberly (Kenneth) Woomer Woods, of Pittsburg,; one son, Kenneth A. Woomer (Melissa) of Milroy; three sisters, Arlene Gerlach, of Wyoming, Darlene (Dave) Benner, of Bellefonte, and Gail (Randy) Richner, of Howard; two brothers, Gerald (Kathy) Woomer and Bruce Woomer, all of Howard; and one grandson, Kenneth L. Woods III “Trey”.

Family and friends will be received from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 20, 2014 at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 Main Street, Howard. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the Pastor Joan Gordon officiating. Burial will be at the Mt. Bethel Cemetery in Mill Hall.
