Obituary of Krishan L. Bhatia , 87

Krishan L. Bhatia, 87, of State College, died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, at his home. Born Dec. 20, 1921, in Sialkot, India, he was a son of the late Barkat R. and Parvati Bhatia. His wife, Asha R. Bhatia, preceded him in death on May 23, 2002.

He was involved with two local businesses, the Krishan Indian Grocery Store and Pheasant Run Townhouses. He was a member of the Hindu Temple.

He is survived by his sons, Suresh Kumar and his wife Dr. Rani, of Pittsburgh, Naresh Bhatia and his wife, Krishna, of Columbus, Ohio, Rakesh Bhatia and his wife, Davinder, of Fremont, Calif.; his daughters, Kamelesh Bhatia, of State College, and Kiran Bhatia Chaundhary and her husband, Gulshan, of State College.

Services are private at the convenience of the family. Koch Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
